Field — Win the ground game

Relational

Friend-to-friend organizing. You write one message, and your supporters send it to their own friends from their own phones — the highest-trust outreach there is. No texting account required, because the campaign never sends anything.

1. Open Field → Relational.
2. Give the push an internal title, like "GOTV weekend — friends & family."
3. Type the ask (e.g. "get 3 friends to vote early this weekend") and click ✨ Draft to have AI write the message — or write it yourself in the box below.
4. Click Create & get supporter link.
5. Click Copy link and send it to your volunteers however you like — text blast, email, group chat.
6. Each volunteer opens the link on their phone, personalizes the message, and texts their own people.

Back on the Relational screen, each push shows a live count of how many supporters opened the link, how many hit send, and how many copied the message.

• Keep the script short and personal — it should sound like a friend, not a campaign.
• Sends are counted when a supporter taps the send button on the share page; the actual text goes out through their own phone.

Events

Create canvasses, phone banks, rallies, fundraisers, and trainings — each with a public RSVP link, capacity and waitlist, check-in, and a one-tap reminder blast.

Reminders always go by text. If you also want them by email, set up your sender first in Communications → Email.

1. Open Field → Events and click ＋ New event.
2. Pick a type (Canvass, Phone bank, Rally, House party, Training…), add a title, and either a location or a virtual join link.
3. Set the date, time, and an optional Max # (capacity). Overflow signups go to a waitlist automatically.
4. To make it weekly, enter how many more weeks it should repeat.
5. Click Create event, then Copy the RSVP link and share it anywhere.
6. As signups roll in, open the event to see shifts, fill counts, and every RSVP. Everyone who signs up is added to your Contacts and tagged as a volunteer.
7. On event day, tap ✓ In to check people in, or No-show. Canceling a signup automatically promotes the next person off the waitlist.
8. Click Send reminder to queue a text (and email, if configured) to everyone signed up.

• Close RSVPs stops new signups without deleting anything.
• The same tool appears in Fundraising as "Fundraiser Events" — it's one events system.

Canvassing

Cut turf, see every door on a map colored by support, walk the list, and log the result at the doorstep. Your VAN-and-clipboard replacement.

You need doors. Either drag a voter-file export (CSV or XLSX with an address column) onto the import box — up to 5,000 rows per file, geocoded and pinned automatically — or click ＋ Generate demo turf to try it with sample doors (clearly badged DEMO).

1. Open Field → Canvassing and import your list (or seed the demo).
2. Click ✦ Re-cut with AI to slice your doors into compact walk areas of about 50 doors each — or, on desktop, ✂ Draw turf on the map to draw a shape around a neighborhood and cut exactly that.
3. On each turf card, click Assign → to hand it to a volunteer (anyone with a volunteer login — the same roster as Texters).
4. Open a turf: you get a live map (pan, zoom, tap a pin) plus a walk list in walking order.
5. Tap a door, then tap the result: Strong support, Leaning us, Undecided, Leaning away, Opposed, Refused, Not home, or Moved.
6. "Not home" doors come back for a second pass; contacts retire the door.

• The dashboard tracks Doors, % Knocked, Contact rate, and Support IDs.
• Tap ✦ AI read of the field for a plain-English read of your numbers plus a suggested doorstep script.

Phone Bank

One voter at a time — tap to dial from your own phone, read the script (merged with the voter's first name), log how they leaned, and the next call comes up. Every caller gets their own batch, so six volunteers never dial the same person.

You need people with phone numbers — they come from your imported walk list (or the demo turf). The volunteer console gives your volunteers this exact same screen.

1. Open Field → Phone Bank. Your first voter appears with a progress bar and session counters (calls made, supporters ID'd, calls left).
2. Tap the phone number to open your device's dialer.
3. Read the script on screen — the voter's first name is already filled in.
4. Log the result: a 1–5 support ID, or No answer, Refused, Bad number. On a keyboard, just press 1–5, a, r, or b.
5. The next voter loads automatically. Keep going.

To set the script (supervisors): click Edit script, write it with {first} where the name goes — or type your goal and click ✦ Draft to have AI write it — then Save script. Every caller reads the same saved script.

• Results logged in a dead zone are saved on your device and sync when the signal returns.
• "No answer" voters come back around after a cooldown; real contacts don't.

Text Bank

The same reply inbox as Communications → Texting, surfaced here for volunteer shifts. One queue of incoming texts, pre-sorted by AI so persuadables and questions float to the top, with approved scripts one keystroke away.

Real two-way texting requires Texting Setup (10DLC registration and a number) in Communications. Without it, you can seed a clearly-labeled demo inbox to practice on — replies are recorded in the app but no real text goes out until texting is live.

1. Open Field → Text Bank.
2. The queue is sorted highest-value first; each conversation shows the AI's read (Persuadable, Question, Supporter, Opposed, Opted out).
3. Click a conversation to see the full thread. If it needs a reply, the AI's suggested approved script is pre-loaded in the reply box.
4. Send the suggestion, press 1–4 to fire a different approved script, or type your own reply.
5. Press J / K to move down and up the queue, T to tag, O to opt someone out.
6. Click ✦ AI sort anytime to re-triage new replies.

• Scripts can carry a tag — firing the script also tags the contact, so your lists build themselves while you text.
• Burn the "needs reply" counter to zero; that's the shift.

Volunteers

Your volunteer roster and leadership ladder. Everyone who RSVPs to an event lands here automatically; you can also add people by hand. Track who actually shows up, and promote your reliable people to team lead.

1. Open Field → Volunteers. The top row shows totals: Volunteers, Active, Team leads.
2. Each person shows their shift count (from event signups) and a rung: New, Active (2+ shifts), or Team lead.
3. To add a walk-in or a paper-sheet signup, click ＋ Add a volunteer, enter name (plus email or phone), and click Add volunteer. If they were already a contact, they're simply tagged as a volunteer — no duplicate.
4. Click ↑ Lead to promote someone to team lead; click Unlead to undo it.

• The fastest way to fill this roster is Events — every RSVP is tagged as a volunteer automatically.
• Promote leads from your Active rung: shifts attended is the honest signal of who you can count on.

GOTV

The get-out-the-vote chase list. Every supporter you've identified (support 4–5) who hasn't voted yet, strongest first. As people vote, you mark them off and they drop from the chase — the single most important GOTV mechanic.

The chase list is built from supporters ID'd in Canvassing and Phone Bank, so knock and dial first. Vote status is what you mark by hand — there's no automatic early-vote file feed yet (demo doors come with sample vote data, labeled as demo).

1. Open Field → GOTV. The dashboard shows Supporters, Voted, and To chase, with a progress bar of how much of your universe is banked.
2. Work the list top-down — it's sorted hardest support first.
3. Tap Call next to anyone with a phone number to open your dialer.
4. When someone tells you they voted, tap ✓ Voted. They leave the list instantly and the banked count ticks up.

• Run GOTV alongside Phone Bank during early vote: every "I already voted" on a call should immediately become a ✓ here.
• The goal on election night is an empty list — every identified supporter accounted for.
