Studio — Build It
Studio is where your campaign's creative gets made: mailers, signs, video, audio, and copy. Everything pulls from your Brand Kit, so set that up first (see below) and every tool already knows your name, office, slogan, and disclaimer. Note: Studio is part of the Renegade Creative add-on (included with War Cabinet). Two of the tools covered here live on other shelves but belong to the same creative workflow: Copywriter is on the Communications shelf, and Library is on the HQ shelf.
Design Studio
What it does
Turns a short brief into campaign-quality design concepts — direct mail, door hangers, palm cards, yard signs, field signs, rally signs, banners, posters, digital ads, stickers, and logos, each in real print or pixel sizes. For a dozen popular sizes it can also build a true print-ready PDF.
Before you start
Fill in your Brand Kit (or fill the candidate fields here — they save back to the kit automatically). You need at least a name or an office to generate.
Steps
- Open Studio → Design Studio.
- Pick what you're making (e.g. Direct Mail) and a size (e.g. 6 × 11 jumbo — the most popular).
- Add this piece's headline, message points (one per line), and a call to action — tap a preset like "Vote Early" or type your own.
- Pick a color theme and tone (Fighter, Hopeful, Executive, Grassroots).
- Optionally upload a real candidate photo — concepts will feature that person. Skip it and a stand-in is used.
- Choose 2, 3, or 4 concepts and click Generate concepts →.
- The concepts drop into your chat. Tell the AI what to change ("make the headline bigger, go navy and gold") and it redoes them.
Pro tips
- Your copy stays in the form after generating — tweak one word and run it again.
- Every concept is automatically saved to your Library (HQ → Library).
Production Mode (print-ready PDF)
For supported sizes (6 × 11 mailer, 4 × 9 door hanger, yard signs, field signs, banners, the 22 × 28 rally sign, and 18 × 24 / 24 × 36 posters), a second section appears: pick a print theme (Midnight, Red/White/Blue, Crimson, Slate, Forest) and style (Classic or Bold), optionally add a QR-code URL and a second CTA line, then click Build print-ready PDF →. You get a true vector PDF, sized with bleed, ready for the printer. Mailer, door-hanger, and poster templates place your real photo — upload one to enable the button. After it's built, type edits in plain English ("change the tagline") and it rebuilds.
Copywriter
Found on the Communications shelf.
What it does
Writes campaign-ready collateral in your voice: fundraising emails, social posts (FB/IG/X), compliant P2P text messages, AP-style press releases, palm-card copy, ~30-second robocall scripts, and 60–90-second stump openers.
Before you start
Fill in your Brand Kit — the Copywriter uses your name and office from it.
Steps
- Open Communications → Copywriter.
- Tap the type of piece you need.
- In "What should it say?", describe the message — e.g. "Fundraising email about funding schools and fixing the roads."
- Click Write my [piece].
- Read the drafts, tap Copy on any piece to copy it to your clipboard, or hit Rewrite for a fresh take.
Pro tips
- It won't invent facts — anything it can't know (a date, a dollar figure) comes back as a [PLACEHOLDER] for you to fill in.
- Paste results straight into the Email or Text Campaign composers.
Voiceover
What it does
Turns a script into broadcast-ready MP3 audio for a radio spot, video voiceover, or phone message — professional announcer voices only, in English or one-click Spanish.
Before you start
Have your script written (the Copywriter can draft it).
Steps
- Open Studio → Voiceover.
- Choose Business or Political / Campaign. Political work runs on campaign-safe voice engines whose terms permit political use — 19 announcer voices. Business mode offers a 29-voice premium library.
- Paste or type your script.
- Pick a language — choose Español and you can write in English; it's translated to broadcast Spanish and voiced.
- Pick a delivery style (Natural, Warm, Urgent, Hard-hitting, Calm) and a voice, grouped by job (Big announcer, Warm & trustworthy, Young energy, and more).
- Click Generate voiceover →. The audio lands in your chat — play it there or download the MP3.
Pro tips
- Business mode also has Design a voice: describe any voice ("a gravelly 60-year-old rancher, calm and grandfatherly") and get 3 custom takes of your script to compare.
- No real-person cloning is offered — that requires consent and disclosure. AI voice in robocalls is FCC-regulated; check the rules before automated calls.
Dub a Clip
What it does
Translates and re-voices an existing video or audio ad into another language.
Steps
- Open Studio → Dub a clip.
- Choose Business or Political / Campaign.
- Upload your video or audio file.
- Pick the target language. Business mode offers 10 (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Hindi, Russian, English) and keeps the original speaker's voice. Political mode offers Spanish and English, and re-voices with a professional announcer voice you pick — the compliant route for political ads.
- Click Dub into [language] →. Longer clips take a minute or two.
- When it's ready, click Open / download. Political dubs return a translated audio track to lay over your video, plus the translated script.
Pro tips
- Political mode works best on clips under ~25 MB.
- AI-altered media in political ads may require disclosure — check your state's rules before airing.
Video Ad
What it does
Assembles a shareable video spot from your Design Studio images plus a voiceover, with on-screen text — composed and rendered right in your browser. Web only: open app.renegadeintel.com on a computer (Chrome, Edge, or Safari).
Before you start
Generate at least one concept in the Design Studio (those images are your slides) and, ideally, a voiceover — both show up here automatically from your session.
Steps
- Open Studio → Video Ad.
- Optional but recommended: use the AI Ad Director — type what the ad should get across and click Write my ad. It writes a 30-second script with a hook, timed scenes, voiceover lines, on-screen text, CTA, music mood, and voice direction, and pre-fills your text fields.
- Tap images to add them; the order you tap is the play order.
- Pick a voiceover from your session (or "No audio").
- Adjust the headline, subhead, and disclaimer (pre-filled from your Brand Kit).
- Click Build video ad → and keep the tab open — it records in real time, about the length of your voiceover.
- Preview it, then Download the file.
Pro tips
- Take the Ad Director's voiceover lines to the Voiceover studio, generate the audio, then come back and build.
Video Clips
What it does
Uploads one long video (a speech, debate, interview) and gets back short, vertical 9:16 clips of the strongest moments with captions burned in — ready for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
Steps
- Open Studio → Video Clips.
- Click Choose a video file and pick your long video.
- Choose 3 or 5 clips.
- Pick a caption style — Bold, Highlight, Minimal, Boxed, or no captions.
- Pick framing: Designed (clean), Fit (blurred background), or Fill (cropped).
- Click Make clips →. The video is transcribed, the strongest moments are chosen, and vertical clips are cut — a few minutes for long videos, with live progress. You can leave the panel open while it works.
- Each finished clip shows its title and length — click ▶ Open to view or download.
Pro tips
- Clips are saved to your Library too.
- AI-edited media in political ads may require disclosure — check your state's rules before airing.
Campaign Audio
What it does
Generates original, royalty-free music beds and sound effects your campaign owns — no music licensing to worry about.
Steps
- Open Studio → Campaign Audio.
- Pick Music bed or Sound effect.
- Describe it — e.g. "hopeful, patriotic strings with a steady drum, builds to an inspiring finish, no vocals" — or tap a Quick Start preset.
- Pick a length: 15/30/60/90 seconds for music, 2/4/8/15 for effects.
- Click Generate. The audio lands in your chat — play it or download the MP3.
Pro tips
- For beds that sit under a voiceover, add "no vocals" to the description.
Brand Kit
Opened from the ◆ Brand Kit button in the conversation sidebar.
What it does
Your campaign identity, entered once and reused by the Design Studio, Copywriter, Video Ad director, and Voiceover — so you never retype your name, office, or disclaimer.
Steps
- Click ◆ Brand Kit in the sidebar.
- Fill in: candidate/brand name (exactly as on the ballot), office + jurisdiction, party, tagline, contact (website/phone/text-to-join), and your "Paid for by…" disclaimer.
- Click Save Brand Kit — you'll see "Saved ✓".
Pro tips
- The disclaimer is required on printed pieces — set it here once and the Design Studio carries it onto every piece.
- Editing candidate fields inside the Design Studio saves back to the kit automatically. Your color theme and tone picks are kept too.
Library
Found on the HQ shelf.
What it does
One browsable home for everything your team has made — clips, designs, voiceovers, audio, and more — newest first.
Steps
- Open HQ → Library.
- Filter by type with the chips at the top (All, clip, image, audio…).
- Each card shows the type, when it was made, and its status. Click Open to view or download the file.
Pro tips
- Design Studio concepts and video clips land here automatically, so a teammate can grab yesterday's mailer concept without digging through chat.
Campaign Website
What it does
A concierge request — this tool does not auto-generate a website. You pick a look and submit a brief with your photos; Carlos's team then builds, brands, and hosts the site and reaches out by email. Included on Kitchen Cabinet and War Cabinet plans.
Steps
- Open Studio → Campaign Website.
- Pick a look: Modern & bold, Classic & trusted, Grassroots & warm, Firebrand, Clean & minimal, or Fresh & energetic.
- Fill in candidate name and office (required), plus state/district, your top 2–3 issues, contact email and phone, and the domain you want (or leave it blank).
- Add candidate photos and your logo.
- Note anything else — colors, must-haves, inspiration links.
- Click Send my website request →. You'll see a confirmation, and the team follows up by email.
Pro tips
- Every site ships with donate, volunteer, and email capture — plus a carrier-compliant SMS opt-in box and Messaging Terms page, so you can legally text supporters from day one (the exact opt-in language is previewed in the form).
- Have your photos ready before you start; a real headshot and logo speed the build.
